We’ve all been on an extended hiatus, an enforced pause. We tried to resist, but our powers were no match for the universe. In the past, we chose to escape to a parallel dimension of our own making. Parallel universes are wonderful, but the agents of reality inevitably pull us back to this grim world. This EP, *Dreams Still*, is the bleakest we’ve created so far. It doesn’t sound vibrant; the entire album acts as a filter. It’s starkly realistic, reflecting our existence in life and death. Yes, we still have dreams, but they’re not spoken of with a smile. Amidst the stench of reality, there is still hope. However, there are no more smiles on our faces, because now that dreams have become responsibilities, what is there to smile about?
